What You'll Need:
2-3 Feet of Your Choice of Chain
2 Small Pliers
Small Pliers for Breaking of Chain
3 Feet of Gold Chain
Identical Cut Sections of Chain
Additional Shorter Section
Modeling The Finished Hair Chain
Finished Product on a Flat Surface
Step 1: You'll need to start off by measuring the chain from the front center of your head around the side to the back center of your head. When you find that point, take the two pairs of pliers and use them to separate the loop of the chain at that spot where you measured. This will be the piece that goes around one half/side of your head.
Step 2: Take the first piece of chain that you measured, and use your pliers to disconnect an additional piece of chain that is the same length as the first piece. This will be the piece that goes around the second half/side of your head. You should now have two identical pieces for the two sides of your head.
Step 3: Finally, measure from the front center of your head to the just below the crown of your head (as if you're making a middle part in your hair). When you identify that length, use your pliers to disconnect the final piece from your chain. You should now have three separate pieces of chain (2 pieces equal in length & 1 shorter piece).
Step 4: Your last step before you complete the hair chain will be to reconnect/close all the open ends of the loops from each section of chain. You'll want to connect each side piece of chain to the front and back of the shorter piece of chain in the center. And with that, you will have you very own Egyptian-inspired hair chain!
Hope you all enjoy!
